Thing 2
This project is a great excuse to dig in to the workings of my iPhone and iPad. Life moves so fast most of the time I only use what I need at the time. I turned off the pop-up Control Center. It had been a problem popping up when I tapped too close to the bottom of the screen in apps. I left it ON in lock screen mode for quick access. I increased the size of the font in apps, making reading easier for these "mature" eyes. : ) I love the Air Drop feature, but sadly can't use in on my iPhone 4 or my gen 2 iPad. Time to update??? I rarely bother closing apps, just moving to the next one. Flicking each one up off the screen is quick and easy. And the availability of walking directions would have come in handy a few months ago when we visited our son who had just moved to Chicago.

I agree that it's hard to find time to discover useful apps, but hopefully this program will help. I hope you can use the walking directions next time you visit your son!
